OK, that I understand. But I still have no clear recollection
of the Seamonkey team approaching this list with ideas for
future versions of Seamonkey and asking for feedback on
acceptability. Could you please let me (us) know whether
that is the norm, or are all decisions as to the evolutionary
route taken by a central cadre without seeking the advice
and opinions of the subscribers to this list ?

Trying to say this nicely, some developers are more concerned than others what the users think. Does the phrase "it's FOSS, if you don't like don't use it, or maintain your own version."

I'm just happy that there is a way around it, but I agree it's a bad default because printing the screen uses way too much ink.
