So, SM cannot show the saved headers which are in the .txt file.
In SM 2.8 I show exactly the same headers no matter how saved.
I am under Win7 pro 32 bits:
Build identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:11.0) Gecko/20120312
Firefox/11.0 SeaMonkey/2.8
And i agree I show exactly the same headers no matter how saved ....
What i complain for is:
When i saved it as .txt notepad show the headers SM also show the headers.
BUT when i saved as .txt, then **i* *change* *the* *extension* *to*
*.eml** - double-click on it = opens in SM
And in this case SM cannot show the headers.
Sure enough, I can trick SM into doing that too, if I go to the trouble.
The info is in the file, but the browser does not display it. I also
noticed that there seems to be a line break after each of the spaces
between field name and field data, so perhaps SM is ignoring lines that
don't begin with approved field names? If I go into the eml file with
Notepad and edit out those line breaks, SM then displays the data
correctly. It works the same whether I use a space or a tab to separate
field name/field data.
But why change the extension when saving and then change it back later?
Why not just leave it as eml and let SM handle it properly?
