Thanks. How do I take a backup?

With any platform, you can make a backup by simply copying the contents of your Seamonkey user profile to another location. In Windows, that's %APPDATA\Mozilla\SeaMonkey\Profiles, and then copy the appropriate profile. Without looking it up, I don't remember the corresponding environment variables for Linux or Mac.

In Windows, you can use MozBackup, which gives you more GUI control, including where you want the backup copied to, what parts of your profile you want to be backed up (or not), etc. It's not an essential tool, but it is nice for making backups quickly. And for good measure, it's a fast way of moving a profile to a new computer.
