My SeaMonkey has become totally screwed up and is no longer
functional for all practical purposes. I want to delete it from my
system then re-install it fresh. How do I preserve my current mail
files (inbox, Sent, etc.)so I can get them all back into the newly
installed version (i.e., what files do I need to copy from my
existing Profile and how do I get them to appear in the newly
installed version)?

Uninstalling the program leaves the profile intact (they're in separate
locations), unless you go to the extra effort to remove the profile
manually. So no specific action is required.

That being said, if the problem is a corrupted profile, reinstalling
won't help and saving the profile won't help. You'll know soon enough --
if reinstalling doesn't help, post back with details and the experts
will offer you advice.

Re-installing doesn't help. There is something corrupted in the Profile causing all sorts of functional issues (including, but not limited to, taking minutes to open or close SeaMonkey or surf between websites and open pages, etc.), which is why I want to uninstall the entire program and need to know what Profile/program files I should copy and how to install them back into the new installation of SeaMonkey so that I get back all of my passwords, bookmarks, mail folders (address book, sent and received messages, etc.), etc.
