Visiting the Intel corporate web site today at :

while seeking support for Intel Active Management Technology, I
received the following warning :

Could members of the Seamonkey Council please liaise with Intel with a
view to gaining corporate recognition ?
I thought the Firefox bit in
Build identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686 on x86_64; rv:14.0)
Gecko/20120715 Firefox/14.0.1 SeaMonkey/2.11
was supposed to protect us from this! That is my build id, so checked
Philip's User Agent:-
I just used Firefox with the UA Switcher and this UA string:
Borgzilla/31.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:31.1.2) Resistance is futile
..and the Intel page worked. So did it with Opera. They are apparently
doing something else besides reading the UA string.
ahaaa... an about:config success! entered a new string
> general.useragent.override
filled in with >Borgzilla/31.0 (peppermintOS3; Linux i686) Resistance is
futile
and the offending intel page works... cool
