I think it stopped working as of this new (2.12) update
need some help here
You initially said "ALT-A". Now you are reporting "CTL-A". I wonder if you
were using the proper key combo.
Control-A has been the 'Select All' key combo for decades. Remember, it
will select from whatever application window has the focus. If anything is
'selected' then Control-C will capture it to the clipboard, and Control-V
will paste it into whatever you gave focus to next.
In any case, in my SeaMonkey all those key combos work. I'm using the
Linux version, however, so you could ostensibly have a Windows issue (but
not a browser issue).
Please don't top-post; thanks for your consideration.
I surely meant CTL-A, and NOT Alt-A
I have tested this key combination is SM 1.x as well as with MS Windows
Notepad. CTL-A works OK in both
I'm using win xp sp3, have not had any security updates for some time now
but if it was a WIN based problem, why is is working with these other
pgms and NOT with SM2.12, which obviously leads me to believe that is
ONLY a SM12.1 based problem ( on my system ONLY- as no one else has
chimed in with a "me too" )
