Well, yes and no. As I understand it, Thunderbird has been sorta put in
the back-burner. There's no longer any big push to add new features to
it, partly because e-mail as a class is a rather mature application and
people can't think of any major features worth adding. But there's still
maintenance and development of minor features, themes and such.
