It hasn't been all that long since I was using X.6.8.
I switched to Mountain Lion (OSX.8.2) in September and wish the heck I
had stayed with X.6.8
My very fast MacBook Pro i7 2.8 Ghz, 8 GB RAM 500 GB Hard computer Now
runs at about 1/2 speed. To boot up from, Apple icon in Middle of screen
to Dock finally loading (using the same amount of control Panels takes
about 3 minutes.
I am not a Neophyte to Mac I've been using them since 1986. I know all
the tricks and tips to improve system performance. I've tried them all.
The one thing I can't Try I know would help That is no long being
updated is AppleJack and there is no equivalent.
