There are a lot of the "iOS-ification" stuff in Lion and "Cougar" that a
lot of us don't care for...myself included. Not to mention that those
older PPC machines are stuck at 1-5.x and below, not being Intel
machines - but they are still very capable machines. In fact, I run my
project recording studio around a G5 PPC iMac.
I read someplace not long ago that 10.6.8 is headed to becoming the "XP"
of the Apple world...and I don't doubt it.
