I've recently switched to SeaMonkey after years of using Netscape.

I seem to be missing the boat when I try to insert images into outgoing
emails.

The recipient doesn't see the images when they open the email and If I
look at the source code it's apparent that the image is just defined by
its file location on MY computer.

I must have some SeaMonkey setting(s) incorrect.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks guys,

Thanks guys. I didn't have the setting to "Compose in HTML" turned on.

Account Settings:
Composition and Addressing:
Compose files in HTML format

Now that it is turned on, things work just as they did for me in Netscape.

Jeff,

There is another me hod to help you with your e-mil composition. You can use this added method to help you compose your messages in addition to the one mentioned above.

For all entries in your address book you have three options to check for each entry in an e-mail message: Plain Text, HTML, or Ask Me. You can also add domains into your preferences to always format message in Plain Text, or HTML. All these opions were migrated from Netscape Communicator and still perform well.
