One new feature that could be eliminated is the facility for hiding bars at the top of the screen. The URL entry field and the next/ previous arrows disappeared. It took me a while to figure out how to restore them. There is no rational purpose for hiding the current url input field. And I had checked all the lines in the "View" menu. I almost switched to Firefox in frustration.
Perhaps the default should be on each new startup of SeaMonkey that all the bars are shown. I am probably not the only one that was stymied by this new and unnecessary feature occurring without warning. I must have hit the "hide" icon without warning while trying to click on the adjacent "back" button.
