Based on what I'm seeing, there seems to be no way to delete a message
from the hard drive, as you might want to do if the date is wrong and
the message would keep reappearing at the top of the thread until, say,
2019.
In my setup, the delete button is grayed out in the edit drop down menu
when you select a message in the thread pane, and there is no option
listed on the toolbar, including the stored buttons. Same situation when
the message in question is opened.
