Using SeaMonkey version 2.15.2
For the last couple of days I'm getting a panel with the following
message when trying to access certain pages at several different
financial institutions:
*****************************
This Connection is Untrusted
You have asked SeaMonkey to connect
securely to brokerage.ameriprise.com, but we can't confirm that your
connection is secure.
Normally, when you try to connect securely,
websites will present trusted identification to prove that you are
going to the right place. However, this website's identity can't be
verified.
(more verbage follows)
****************************
Clicking on the "technical Details" gets:
"brokerage.ameriprise.com uses an invalid security certificate.
***************************
Clicking on "I understand the risks" does nothing but flip the triangle.
This DOES NOT happen at all if I use Internet explorer to go to the same
locations.
And, if I click on "I understand the risks", nothing else appears, and
I'm stuck there.
**************************
How do I stop this?
Thanks guys,
Jeff
