I may not be using yahoo mail the same way that you are but here is my
setup. I'm an AT&T dial-up user and AT&T has yahoo handling the email
accounts funneled through the servers listed below.
I have removed from Avast Mail Shield any yahoo SSL entries. The
Seamonkey account settings for the POP server are:
Server Name: inbound.att.net
User Name: [email protected]
Port: 995
Connection Security: SSL/TLS
SMPT
Server Name: outbound.att.net
User Name: [email protected]
Port: 465
Connection Security: SSL/TLS
The above may not be exactly the same as your setup but may give you
some ideas.

Thank you.. so if I understand correctly, you have set your outgoing and
incoming pop accounts as your ATT settings and NOT Yahoo's?
I Am on Verizon, whose settings are quite similar to AT&T's. I think
this started just after verizon updated something in their system.
For the outgoing settings I do rather prefer each account to have its'
own setting based on the server, as was originally.
