Being lazy, and usually going to the same web sites rather than others,
I often click on the down arrow on the right side of where you enter the
URL you wish to go to, and click on one of the URLs from the selections
that appear, to go to that URL.

How can I delete just one of those URLs from the selection.

You can't,
there is specific bug open for this issue:
<https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=87098>

There are also ancillary bugs:
<https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=149026>
<https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=251912>

You can add your vote to the bugs if you like (a Bugzilla account is
needed).

Actually CCleaner does a pretty good job of cleaning typed urls in Seamonkey. Just need to make sure that you have the Firefox setting correct (I think). CCleaner thinks of Seamonkey as just a different Firefox version. On the applications tab of CCleaner, Firefox will come up first, then just make sure that the boxes are ticked for Internet history and Internet Cache, then analyze the clean. Should make everything go away.
