Brain fade, Geoff, yes you're right, it is from the drop-down list, and
I've just been and checked and I still don't get the option to delete an
address from the list .... but, again, I'm sure I used to be able!!

and I'm "sure" (not hiding....but ducking) it wasn't....but the post
that says an add-on will accomplish this, may be the solution.
Unfortunately, I do almost all of my usenet/moz-net perusing from a very
old computer with a very old SM so I fear trying any add-ons, lest my
free-time hobby become a project I don't need.
