Adobe Reader 11.0.3
SeaMonkey 2.19

It used to be that, if I selected a link to a PDF file from a Web page,
the file would open in a SeaMonkey tab.  Now, it opens in an Adobe
Reader window.  How do I restore the opening in my browser?

I have tried following

without success.  I noticed during those attempts that, if I go to [Edit
> Preferences] on the Adobe Reader menu bar and then select Internet
under Categories, the "Display PDF in browser" check box no longer exists.

Someone in the Adobe Reader Forum suggested selecting [Edit >
Preferences > Browser > Helper Applications] on the SeaMonkey menu bar
and then selecting "Use Adobe Reader (in SeaMonkey)" from the pull-down
list for Adobe Acrobat Document.  However, the pull-down list has no
such entry.
