Whilst I whole-heartedly approve of your trimming (an example that I sincerely wish others would emulate), I do feel that you have over-done it on this occasion. But to return to the matter under debate : When you refer to "functions available in Word" and "functions available in Seamonkey", it is unclear to what functions you refer. Word offers "Copy" and Seamonkey offers "Paste" and "Paste without formatting". Only the third of these appears to offer any hope of ameliorating the situation, but that would (by definition) lose the very thing that the orginal enquirer seeks to retain. So could you explain, perhaps by example, exactly to which features of Word and Seamonkey you refer ?
