It appears Kerridge's menu bar is also missing, so he cannot do that. Instead, he should look right under the title bar, the Windows bar at the top of the window. Just under the title bar at the far left, there might be two rectangles, each with a right-pointing triangle at the left end and dots resembling Braille text.
