After I upgraded from 2.20 to 2.21 two major changes occurred, as follows:
SeaMonkey 2.20 was not noted as being uninstalled. I had to go back and
uninstall 2.20 from add/remove.
2.21 now starts from the following location:
C:\Users\rff\AppData\Local\SeaMonkey\seamonkey.exe. There is NOTHING in
the program files folder except for a plugins folder with plugins in it.
The installation of 2.21 was the normal overinstall, like we've all done
dozens of times. I can't believe this is by design, but I'd like someone
to verify that. btw, the browser seems to work normally and the settings
and customizations from 2.20 were carried forward successfully.
Roger, when you type "The installation of 2.21 was the normal
overinstall", do you mean that you did an update to go from 2.20 to 2.21??
If so, the that files of your 2.20 install were modified as required to
become 2.21, but in the same location as 2.20, so when you thought you
were uninstalling 2.20, you were actually uninstalling 2.21.
