Hmmm. I would have thought that either the set of mailnews.reply_header* preference variables would also be used for forwarded messages or else there would be a parallel set of mailnews.forward_header* preference variables. (See <http://kb.mozillazine.org/Mail_and_news_settings>.) However, that thought would be wrong. On testing, the mailnews.reply_header* variables do NOT apply to forwarded messages.
