I agree that tabbed browsing is great BUT: When you set your Browser
Preferences to "Replace Existing Tabs when opening a a book mark group",
it does not work. If you click on the Home icon, you keep on adding new
tabs. Old tabs can't be replaced. If this not going to be fixed, then
the "Replace Existing Tabs" check box should be removed from the program.
See bug report at https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=616601
where Philip Chee explains why he did it this way.
Arnie, when I've done this sort of thing, I've had one of my 4 (or 5 or
6) tabs selected, clicked "Home" and the one tab I had selected was
replaced with my six-tab Home group, leaving me with 9 (or 10 or 11)
tabs open.
So works exactly as I would expect it!! Now, if I were able to select
all the open tabs at one time and then click "Home", I would then expect
to just have my Home group open, but I don't think you can select more
than one tab at a time!! :-)
