Font size and resolution also matter, of course. The same physical space
will hold more or less text depending on those parameters.
As for the Accounts pane, I refer you to my earlier post in this thread,
the one you replied to four hours earlier than your latest:
1) On my 16:9 monitor, with less than two inches allocated for the
Accounts pane on the left, I have enough room for about 150
characters of Subject, From, Date, Status, etc. In 99% of the cases,
that's enough.
Yeap, sorry, and I think that was about 20 hours ago, not four (I think)
You must have your font size set smaller than my 12pt!
