I just tried to crosspost to fr.test and i agree with you, i got an
error and i cannot add the fr.test newsgroup on my reply -> my error
message is:
Sending of message failed.
Please verify that your Mail & Newsgroups account settings are correct
and try again.
I think that my settings are correct.
The problem is in SM because i suddently got another error message:
Unable to save your message as draft.
Please verify that your Mail & Newsgroups account settings are correct
and try again.
Stéphane and Ray, were you subscribed to fr.test on a Usenet server
when you tried to post?? (Mind you, I don't actually know if you have
to be subscribed or not, I suspect so, so just asking!!)
I used news.mozilla.org as my newsgroup server and i did not have
fr.test subscribed.
Did you say that with SM i need to have fr.test in my subscribed list on
this server to be able to crosspost to fr.test ?
If so, i am surprised, because using other newsgroup client program (not
SM) i can crospost to every newsgroup the post was initially posted
evenwhile with unsubscribed ones.
