What is the best way to covert my POP mail account to IMAP mail account
in Seamonkey 2.24
Copy your POP account's mail to local folders. Delete POP account. Add
the account as IMAP. Optionally copy your old POP mail back into the
IMAP account.
I thought Stan would also have to have his ISP change the account, as
well!!
Most modern hosting providers offer both POP3 and IMAP access to the
same account with nothing needed to switch back and forth. If the user
is hosting on a typical cPanel-based provider, then moving the account
in SeaMonkey from POP3 to IMAP should be as I described.
O.K., thanks Trane, ... and, as Stan says he is his own ISP, the points
moot!
