Of course. But Desiree wrote specifically of removing
a newsgroup from an e-mail client, not from a combined
e-mail/news client such as Seamonkey.

I have this newsgroup in SeaMonkey also. I can add/remove newsgroups
there. I generally use Thunderbird (because Fx does not have an email
client), but I have all email addresses and newsgroups also in SeaMonkey
and Opera 12.16.
