I allowed SeaMonkey to auto-update from 2.29.1 to 2.30 this morning

The
symptoms are that SeaMonkey will start but all windows have a normal
border
with all content being black. OS is Windows 7 Professional SP1
(64-bit). I
Disable hardware acceleration in SM 2.30. Edit > Preferences >

How do you do that? The pages are all black, a tribute to a minimalist
theme, but not a good GUI.
You are having this problem with the Linux version of SeaMonkey?
I don't know if these instructions adapted from Firefox support will help.
Restart SeaMonkey in SeaMonkey safe mode.
1) Shut down SeaMonkey.
2) Hold down the Shift key and double click on the SeaMonkey icon.
3) If the Profile Manager opens, select the default profile and then
hold down the Shift key again while clicking the "Start SeaMonkey" button.
4) Edit > Preferences > Appearance > Content and uncheck "Use hardware
acceleration when available".
5) Restart SeaMonkey.
Method #2
1) Start up browser in 'safe-mode' as listed above
2) Enter about:config in the address bar.
3) Filter for layers.offmainthreadcomposition.enabled
4) Click on that to turn it off.
Method #3
Update your video driver.
