Perplexing to me, too. Like Jonathan, I've been using SeaMonkey since it
was Netscape 4.x and I only have 5 GB in my entire Mozilla folder (most
of that in the profile).
Of course, I haven't been sending and receiving pirated movies or
anything; attach a few dozen of those at three or four GB a pop and you
could blow up your mail folder pretty quickly.
