My guess is the Sent folder. If you routinely email attachments, then
all those messages (with the attachments) will be in your Sent folder,
unless you move the messages to other folders. Even then, the
attachments will still be there.
In my experience, most of the time, there's no real point in keeping
copies of attached files in your mail store, because you already have
the originals. This particular situation is where I think that
Mozilla's email clients (both Seamonkey and Thunderbird) really shine,
in that there is the capacity of deleting attachments from a message.
Well I have kept them and have archives back to '98 since with my
business as artist I have attachments some quite large and all possible
discrepancies between memory and history can be rectified ;-) And with
all that for 4 accounts my profile is still no where near 50G!
