Kind of good news. Since Softmaker Office is a paid product, I wonder if this will change the perception of Thunderbird as a free app. And with different development tracks, how will inconsistencies between the two affect perceptions of Thunderbird? Dropping eMclient is an interesting choice. And for those of us who use Linux, this news really doesn't affect us.
