Softmaker Office is a high quality product. Fast, efficient, almost
bug-free and - unlike all the alternatives I know of - everything but
bloated. (I've been using the Linux version for many years.) So my hope

also on the quality of the mail component in Seamonkey.
So, it is better than the free OpenOffice and LibreOffice?
When I tried OpenOffice years ago it was a beast. Extremely bloated and
slow, and difficult to use compared to lean and polished SoftMaker. When
I try to install LibreOffice on Debian Linux today, it tells me that it
will consume 293 MB of disc space. That's enough of a reason for me to
stay away from it. Softmaker Office 2008 uses about 121 MB here.
