and if you look closely, you'll see the text layout is the same. HTH
That's how HTML mimic a plain text delimiting signature - SM and perhaps
also other mail-client did not see this as a valid délimiter.
Because a valid delimiter is a line containing only "-- " followed by
the CRLF pair which ends the line.
