I was very careful with the selection of addons and userstyles used.
It may be 20 addons but only 18 are enabled and 16 of the 17 users styles.
More importantly though, according to the about:addons-memory
<https://github.com/nmaier/about-addons-memory> addon (which is not
included by default) the additions only add about 2 megs of memory usage
to SeaMonkey overall. So there has been no big 'weight' added to it's
memory footprint.
Phil asks me for some examples, I provided those. As for the addition of
lightning/lightbird and fireftp this makes sense to me because it is
suppost to be an 'internet suite' not just a web browser.
Also the ability to 'drag text to right of last tab/or to existing tab
and do the same thing.' is not user intuitive. Few would come to that
conclusion.
It doesn't make much logical sense to want to make something better and
more appealing yet insist on keeping everything the same. That is a bit
of a paradox.
The thing is that appeal and perfection, like beauty, are in the eye of
the beholder. Everyone does not agree on what is appealing and what is not.
