Depending on the car, it could be the best option. When I've had older
cars, sometimes mechanics have told me it wasn't not worth the cost of
the repair and I should move on. I trust those mechanics more than the
ones who will happily waste thousands of dollars repairing a junker.
Correction: "wasn't worth..."
