No, I didn't. I never said anything of the kind.

Correct .. I just dis not realize that I forget to remove this
sentence:
"Paul B. Gallagher wrote on 29/05/2016 08:56:" ...
Sorry for that :-)

I just post this thing:
It would be nice, and more simple, if SM had a button saying "Make
this
page my Home page"

It's a good idea, I'm just a stickler for being misquoted. Good
luck in
promoting it.

Does it not already?

"Edit > Preferences > Browser"

Display on "Browser Startup > Home Page" click the "Use Current Page"
button.

Just a little more granularity where you can also set for New
Window and
New Tab.

I think Ray's talking about an option available directly from a
browser window. For example, we already have "Go | Home" and
"Bookmarks | Bookmark This Page" on the menu.

That's nearly my idea, because the current place of the "Use Current
Page" button is too deeply hidden.
From this point of view, MS is not user friendly.

Deeply hidden? All you need to do is open Preferences, choose
Browser, and the choice of browser startup and what you get with the
Home button are right there.

Yes, hidden = FOUR steps/clicks ...not just one click if this button is
in front of me on one of the three toolbars :-)

Waid-a-minute, you just click on the current URL and drag and drop it onto the "HOME" button. - done

YES ... This was my discussion with Chris:
