Chase Bank recently updated their websites, and now they won't allow

I have been using SM for years to access Chase. Not about to use
another browser just to do it their way.

Call Chase Online services (877) 260-2178 and file a complaint. The
first person you talk to can't do anything, so ask to escalate the
complaint. I told them it was their problem, and gave them the user
agent string: (Help/About SM) User agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT
6.1;
WOW64; rv:43.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/43.0 SeaMonkey/2.40.

If enough people complain, they might do something about it other
than
say "We don't support SM." To which the reply should be "I don't
support you."

Mark, the next time you, or anybody else, gets to talk to the Chase
Bank higher level Tech Support, tell them not to sniff for the word
Firefox but, instead, sniff for the word Gecko.

The webmasters did not know about a browser with the name "Gecko"
... In
fact they don't care about other browsers outside of their list.

And you and I also know that there is no Browser called Gecko, but
(maybe one of the devs will pipe in) is it the programming language or
whatever that is called Gecko, so that Chase Bank's Level 2 or higher
will know what is going on??

In the long run, it would provide a better experience for more of
Chase's customers, so they (Chase) should be interested.
So the best solution is that we instead of showing:
User agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:41.0) Gecko/20100101
Firefox/41.0 SeaMonkey/2.38
we show:
User agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:41.0) Gecko/20100101
Firefox/82.38
(just remove 80 from the Firefox version to retrieve the SM version.)
So chase will not tell us to upgrade...

No, the best solution is to walk into your local branch of Chase and
tell them that you are moving all of your accounts to Bank Of America
because their Web site is broken. THAT is what will get their
attention. Money talks, especially when it walks.

1. They don't care ... about one leave.
2. It's a fact that SEAMONKEY is 99% of the time NOT detected and
recognized by webmasters ...Do not put your head in the sand like
ostriches are.

"Do not put your head in the sand" .... They will never know about SeaMonkey (and other compliant Browsers) unless *WE* make them aware of it!!

Yes, but they do not want to increase the list of browsers they support
