Rick, I know a program should not use more RAM than it needs, and should

Yor PC could play a virtual card game with the memory or maybe sun spots :)
Anyway. Don't use 2.42a2. It's old and a prerelease.
If you need a new version use the 2.44 from Adrian in the comm-release tree
until
an official release arrives. Bug reports against it are accepted.

Thanks, Frank!! I think I have used a Pre-Release somewhere along the
lines, was on Beta release for a long time and I think I've even used
one of Adrian's releases somewhere along the line.
Now I just wait for the updates, whenever they come out!!
