Hi guys, I ( as perhaps many of you ) am a fan of the unhosted web apps concept https://unhosted.org/
And have downloaded a number of these apps https://unhosted.org/apps/ Notably: Laverna --> https://laverna.cc/ Litewrite --> http://litewrite.net/ And a Sticky Notes app which I got from ( the now defunct ) MDN Demo Studio. Now, SeaMonkey is my default browser, so when I opened up Litewrite... uh... nothing happening... =( Laverna... "Loading" splash screen for... ... ever =(( Sticky Notes app presents itself but does not respond to clicks =((( But when I opened up all of the above on Firefox, they all worked just fine. In short, I asked myself, What does Firefox have that SeaMonkey doesn't? But how can it be? These apps are merely written in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and whatnot, so any browser should be able to render these apps more or less like a webpage. Any help/suggestions/enlightenment on the subject - would be greatly appreciated! If it has something to do with certain key ingredients that haven't been ported over and not yet included in the latest SeaMonkey release, no problem, I can wait. It just would be nice... no AWESOME! to be able to get the concept of running unhosted web apps in my favorite browser! Thank you for your time.
