The usual practice in this forum is to bottom-post -- reply below the previous message. But if you include the signature from the previous message, that creates problems. > 2] I have forwarded your whole message since I do not see any graying > out or not quoted. Did you quote my message? I only see the body of > your message, followed by (a delimiter+) a quotation about "war does > not.." and then (a delimiter+) your signature. Where would my message > be in the following quote? OK, I didn't notice you were using Zimbra instead of SeaMonkey. In SeaMonkey, everything below the signature delimiter is grayed out, and when replying, it is omitted from the quoted material. I don't know what Zimbra does. See here for a screenshot: <https://postimg.org/image/qj9j31bdz/> No, I didn't quote your message. > PS I was just warned <[email protected]> is not a valid > address and mail cannot be delivered :-( Good. It's not supposed to be valid. If I use a valid address here, I'll get buried in spam because spammers can harvest addresses from these fora. But a human being looking at that address can usually figure out what part to change to make it valid. Paul B. Gallagher Thank you Paul for the advice. I do recall about the "Delimiter" from Fido(?) but forgot all about it in the recent years. Also I recall that top-posting really upsets some folks . I will try to remember that custom also. Yes I am using the webmail interface of my ISP. That's the reason for the current rush to learn about IMAP and synchronisation regards harsha godavari _______________________________________________ support-seamonkey mailing list [email protected] https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/support-seamonkey
