Agreed but gtk3 itself is a pile of and at some point sticking to gtk2 will no longer work ... I use Linux only occasionally but I am quite sure this is/will become a problem for Firefox too. 2.45 was supposed to use gtk2. I will ask in the next status meeting if we should switch at least aurora, beta and release to gtk2 until the problems are solved.


It is a problem for Firefox and Thunderbird on Linux.
