I could copy the plugins in that folder but by doing that I would be bypassing the Fedora package system and could forget about it and then be using old plugins. It seems that the solution will be for me to do my own build of SM - like I used to do years ago - that way I can specify what folders to use. There seems to be no source tar balls in the Aurora folder below.
