This is a new profile and I have set the home page to blank. These
connections are made when I launch seamonkey before I do anything else.
What are they about? Is it copies from firefox core code?
Sorry, Frank-Rainer, but are you suggesting that, straight out of the
box, my SeaMonkey is "phoning home" to these three (and, possible,
other) servers every time I connect to the Internet WITHOUT MY
PERMISSION??
If so, can you please provide further information ....
1. How can I stop this "phoning home",
2. What might I break if I disable this "phoning home", and,
3. What SM function may break if I disable this function??
(So much of the SPAM I receive seems to originate from amazonaws that
I would rather avoid it if I can!!)

"Help > Customize SeaMonkey > Advanced Preferences > Software
installation" .... no mention of Customize SeaMonkey on the Help
drop-down .... maybe they mean "Edit > Preferences > Advanced
Preferences > Software installation .... Nope, don't see anything useful
there!
The next section of that link, Security, mentions " Help > Internet
Privacy > Privacy & Security Preferences > SSL" .... again no "Internet
Privacy" under "Help"!! and I cannot see anything close under
"Edit->Preferences->Advanced" or "Edit->Preferences-> Privacy &
Security" either! Maybe they mean "Edit->Preferences->Privacy &
Security->SSL/TLS
And as for your second link, Walt, they talk about Mozilla Product and I
haven't used a Mozilla product since I left Mozilla Suite and moved to
SeaMonkey (Teh, HEE!!) OH, no, wait, on my Ubuntu 16.04, I recently used
Moz FF to get Linux SM 2.46!! ;-)
