Clifford, I don't use AT&T so cannot give you an answer to your first question, but for your second, you might get some indication of your profiles location by, in SeaMonkey, have a look at the "Local directory:" on the "Server Settings" tab of your E-Mail Account near the bottom of the Edit->Mail & Newsgroup Account Settings.

Also, in your Windows 10, set it to "Show Hidden Folders" (or Directories) and then do a search looking for "Inbox" (without the inverted commas) and see how many Inbox's (which contain you Received E-Mails) turn up. One of them might contain your missing e-mails.

A third option would be, whilst in SeaMonkey's Mail & News screen, have a look at Tools->Switch Profiles. If there is more than one profile listed there, maybe one of the others is your lost Profile!!
