I have had SeaMonkey since Netscape disappeared. It is really

I would really like to stick with SeaMonkey so any
ideas/suggestions as to how I can do that.

If your profile has been around since the Netscape era, chances are
that you've accumulated a lot of cruft there, and where the problem
is not AT&T or "Seamonkey", so much as it is the specifics of your
Seamonkey profile. And if you're seeing better results in
Firefox/Thunderbird, then it's likely that the reason is newer
profiles.

In any case, I'm inclined to believe that if you're using either
Safe Mode or a fresh profile, you probably won't be having problems
with AT&T (including use of AT&T branded stuff at Yahoo).

I've also kept the same profile since Netscape, and I'm not having problems. But it's hard to know what's going on with the OP's system because he doesn't provide critical details.

What exactly does "does not seem to work" mean? Does the program hang or crash? Do you get an error message? If so, what's it say?

What exactly are your settings at Edit | Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings... | <account name> | Server Settings? Do those match the recommended settings from AT&T?

Does AT&T tech support say POP mail is still supported, or do they want you to switch to IMAP?
