I have been on att.net from the beginning when it was "Worldnet". I also started
with Netscape and am now using SM 2.46 which is the latest "official" release so
can't help you with SM 2.48 but I think it should work okay.

att.net (which is handled by Yahoo) is going through some growing pains because
Yahoo is being sold to Verizon. It is not clear if the att.net handled by Yahoo
will also go to Verizon. In any event, att.net has been having some problems
with POP3 over the last several weeks which have lasted from 1-6 hours. You can
