I think you are right but I ran Malwarebytes and AVG they found nothing

Is there a specific web site/page where you get this message, or it just occurs on any site?

I get the message when I click on Help and then Check For Updates
When i do the same step .. SM told me that there is no update available.
And this is OK ... what is the problem ? 2.46 is the latest stable officila release, so no need to update.
Soory I just realise that instead of having the message "there is no update available" you have the message "Something is preventing..."
