Hi!

Please, Seamonkey - stay alive.

All other Browsers fucked up their UI / Prefs / Privacy.

It already smelled when Goodger forked Phoenix/Firebird...
The UI fucked up... then he went to Google.

Seamonkey is the only Browser I trust.
Keep up the good work.

ciao...

Why did you say that? SeaMonkey will die?

Well, SeaMonkey 2.49.x based on Firefox 52ESR has been out since October 2017. The current official version 2.49.4 since July 2018 still based on 52ESR.

The last beta was 2.48b1 from April 2017.

"[comm-beta]:

We currently do not track nor update comm-beta.
Do not use any current comm-beta based release.
See bug 1452448 for current comm-central breakages."

Version 2.49.5 is delayed while they build up the new infrastructure.

Meanwhile they are hard at work on 2.57 based on 60 ESR. Probably also delayed while they build up the new infrastructure.

There aren't enough developers and they probably could use some financial help. I think they are putting in a valiant effort but may be facing a bit of burnout.

There are unofficial 2.49.5 and 2.53 builds from Bill.

I've been using 2.49.5 64 bit version from Bill since January.  Seems to be fine and he has not done any updates since then.
Spending his time on 2.53 and 2.57  which I have not tried.
