It is the usual spiel. Abuse bla bla bla and we won't have this. Even with irc
you can kick and moderate users. This is imho just another attempt to silence
opinions they don't like. Bet the newsgroups will follow.

You can also /ignore users and when you (mozilla.org) have control over
all the servers on a network you can implement whatever
blocking / auth features you want.

Only the devs need a backlog. Is it too hard to use a bouncer?

Mozilla mission:
"Our mission is to ensure the Internet is a global public resource,
open and accessible to all."

cool.. and then use Slack as communication channel..

It's sad how Firefox is almost unusable now for me..
- stupid preferences UI
- kill many easily accssible add-ons from the toolbar by banning them
   into the right top corner
- no longer show the protocol in the urlbar
- no longer show the main menu
- removed stuff from the right click menu

:/

ciao..
