Yes support will be kept intact. Makes no sense to gut it withoput web
extention support. But keep in mind that some apis especially for the
Bookmarks did change and some obsolete features were dropped by mozilla
between 52 and 56 (NPAPI, some Javascript syntx). We will not restore this. So
some mostly older extensions will break or better are broken.
