Every morning, I get an email from the USPS about the mail I will be
receiving today (Informed Delivery Daily Digest). Today, something
unusual has happened.
I have Seamonkey 2.49.5 set to check mail every minute so every minute,
I get a copy of the very same email downloaded. Since 7:30 am this
morning.
I have turned off the setting to check for mail every minute so, for
now, they have stopped.
Unfortunately, if I use 'Get Msgs' to this account, I will again get the
same message.
Is this a problem at my ISP (Xfinity), Seamonkey, USPS, or somewhere else?
More importantly, what can be done to correct this?
Do you have web access for this account? It might be that USPS is
sending you a ton of them, which you could confirm by viewing the inbox
online. Do you have the "remove duplicates" add-on? If so, does it
identify these as true duplicates? Have you tried restarting SeaMonkey
to see if that clears it up? I have a periodic problem with it failing
to fetch email for an account that is only corrected by a restart.

USPS is only sending one. It appears to be stuck in the inbox at the
ISP. I have deleted it from the inbox to see what happens now.

SeaMonkey has be restarted with no effect on the problem.
I do not have the "remove duplicates" add-on.
